World Mobile EarthNode Staking
World Mobile EarthNode Staking: How WMTx Delegation Works
EarthNode Staking will allow WMTx holders to delegate tokens to a World Mobile EarthNode without having to operate an EarthNode themselves. World Mobile currently lists EarthNode Staking as “activating shortly”, so the final delegation process and reward parameters are not yet publicly available.
How EarthNode Staking Works ↓EarthNode Staking at a Glance
EarthNode Staking is different from running an EarthNode yourself. A WMTx holder will be able to delegate to an EarthNode while the EarthNode Operator is responsible for the underlying network infrastructure.
What Is World Mobile EarthNode Staking?
World Mobile EarthNode Staking is a delegated staking mechanism that will allow WMTx holders to delegate WMTx to an EarthNode participating in World Mobile Chain.
Delegators do not need to install or operate an EarthNode themselves. Instead, they will choose an EarthNode and assign WMTx to it through the delegation mechanism once that functionality becomes available.
World Mobile describes EarthNode Staking as a way to participate in securing the network while earning staking rewards.
How Will WMTx Delegation to an EarthNode Work?
The final delegation interface and transaction flow have not been published yet. The underlying model, however, is already clear: WMTx holders delegate to an EarthNode, while the EarthNode Operator provides the infrastructure that participates in World Mobile Chain.
The delegator holds WMTx that can be used for EarthNode Staking.
The delegator selects an EarthNode once the delegation mechanism is available.
WMTx is assigned to the selected EarthNode through the staking mechanism.
The EarthNode contributes infrastructure and services to World Mobile Chain.
EarthNode Staking is designed to reward participants for helping secure the network.
The exact wallet flow, user interface, minimum delegation and undelegation process remain to be announced.
Do I Need to Run an EarthNode Myself?
No. WMTx holders will be able to participate in EarthNode Staking by delegating to an EarthNode without operating the node infrastructure themselves.
This separates the role of the delegator from the role of the EarthNode Operator. The delegator provides stake, while the Operator is responsible for running the infrastructure required for the EarthNode.
Delegates WMTx
Chooses an EarthNode and delegates WMTx without maintaining the physical or server infrastructure of the node.
Operates infrastructure
Runs and maintains the infrastructure that allows the EarthNode to perform its role in World Mobile Chain.
What Does an EarthNode Do?
EarthNodes form part of the decentralized infrastructure behind World Mobile Chain. World Mobile describes EarthNodes as infrastructure that verifies, validates and secures network data while supporting services across the ecosystem.
EarthNodes participate in processing and validating network activity.
EarthNode infrastructure supports authentication and decentralized identity services.
EarthNodes support communications and additional services across the World Mobile ecosystem.
EarthNodes participate in World Mobile Chain governance, including voting on key network proposals.

EarthNode Staking vs. Core Staking vs. Locked Staking
World Mobile currently offers or is preparing different ways to use WMTx for staking. Their mechanics differ, so they should not be treated as interchangeable.
| Staking Type | Basic Principle | EarthNode Selection | Availability |
|---|---|---|---|
| Core Staking | WMTx staking in 30-day epochs with monthly rewards | No | Available |
| Locked Staking | WMTx locked for 3, 6, 9 or 12 months with a position-specific fixed annual rate | No | Available |
| EarthNode Staking | WMTx delegated to a selected EarthNode | Yes | Activating shortly |

What Should I Look for When EarthNode Delegation Becomes Available?
World Mobile has not yet published the final EarthNode selection metrics. Until those are available, no definitive ranking criteria can be stated.
When delegation becomes available, several factors may nevertheless become relevant depending on the information World Mobile exposes for individual EarthNodes and their Operators.
Consistent infrastructure operation may be relevant when evaluating a node that participates in network services.
Clear information about the Operator may help delegators understand who is responsible for the node infrastructure.
Infrastructure characteristics may become relevant if World Mobile exposes performance or operational information for EarthNodes.
Operator fees, reward sharing or other economic parameters should only be compared once the final model is published.
These are general considerations, not confirmed World Mobile EarthNode ranking criteria.
How Much WMTx Will Be Required for EarthNode Staking?
No public minimum WMTx delegation amount for EarthNode Staking is currently stated by World Mobile.
Minimum amounts or limits from other World Mobile staking programmes should therefore not be assumed to apply to EarthNode delegation.
How Will EarthNode Staking Rewards Work?
World Mobile states that EarthNode Staking will allow participants to earn rewards for helping secure the network, but the final public reward parameters remain unpublished.
World Mobile has not announced a general EarthNode delegation reward rate, Operator-to-delegator reward split, fee structure or final reward distribution schedule.
Any projected EarthNode Staking return should therefore be treated cautiously until World Mobile publishes the final reward model.
See the WMTx Staking Rewards guide for the reward mechanics that are already known across World Mobile staking options.
When Will World Mobile EarthNode Staking Launch?
World Mobile currently describes EarthNode Staking as “activating shortly.” A precise public activation date is not stated on the current World Mobile Chain page.
Details such as the final delegation interface, minimum delegation, undelegation rules and reward parameters have therefore not been announced yet.
What Will I Need to Do Once EarthNode Staking Goes Live?
The final process will depend on World Mobile’s staking interface and documentation. The basic decision will be whether to participate through EarthNode Staking and which EarthNode to select.
Hold WMTx
EarthNode Staking uses WMTx as the asset being delegated.
Review EarthNodes
Compare the information World Mobile makes available for eligible EarthNodes and their Operators.
Delegate through the official interface
Follow the World Mobile delegation process once EarthNode Staking has been activated.
The final wallet, network and transaction requirements will depend on World Mobile’s official EarthNode Staking interface.
Maracuja Nodes
Maracuja World Mobile Earth Node
Maracuja Nodes holds the right to operate a World Mobile Earth Node and plans to operate it when the relevant production infrastructure and operator process are available.
Once delegated EarthNode Staking is active and the final delegation rules are known, the relevant information for WMTx holders considering delegation can be evaluated on that basis.

No. EarthNode Staking is designed to allow WMTx holders to delegate to an EarthNode without operating the node infrastructure themselves.
World Mobile has not yet published the final public delegation interface or complete transaction flow. The published model is that WMTx holders will select an EarthNode and delegate WMTx to it once EarthNode Staking is activated.
No public minimum WMTx delegation amount for EarthNode Staking is currently stated by World Mobile.
World Mobile has not yet published a general EarthNode delegation reward rate, Operator-to-delegator reward split, fee structure or final reward distribution schedule.
The final EarthNode undelegation rules, including any waiting period or cooldown, have not yet been announced by World Mobile.
Core Staking uses 30-day staking epochs and does not require selecting an EarthNode. EarthNode Staking is designed around delegating WMTx to a selected EarthNode participating in World Mobile Chain.
